Scheduling

• Scheduling is the last step in project planning but it is the second step in production planning.
• It is the time table of production. It gives the starting date and the completion date and time for each operation.
• The main objective of scheduling is to see that all operations are completed within the allocated time period.
• Generally a schedule should be produced at the start of the each month or week. It is an important tool for time management.If it is done correctly it will maximize the time and the stress you may face during the process of the tasks.
• The most common way of scheduling is preparing gantt charts for work and time allocation.
